Feb 21, 2019

Bag O' Diamonds, the title of Susan Wheeler's first book of poems published in 1993, was illustrative of all her work to follow: never predictable, always vivid and musical and edgy at once. Her writing—including a novel and six books of poetry—has won many honors, and appeared in the New Yorker, Paris Review, and ten editions of Best American Poetry. Her volume, Meme (2012), was shortlisted for the National Book Award in Poetry. She directs Princeton's Program in Creative Writing. This reading is interspersed with an audience Q&A.
