Rosanna Warren's poetry “break[s] one's heart even as it makes one think” (Ploughshares). Her volumes include Ghost in a Red Hat, Departure, a translation of Euripides's Suppliant Women, and a book of criticism. She is the recipient of awards from the Academy of American Poets, the American Academy of Arts and Letters, and the Guggenheim Foundation.
