Connie Butler joined the Hammer Museum as chief curator in 2013. Prior to joining the Hammer, she was chief curator of drawings at MoMA from 2006–2013, where she organized major exhibitions including On Line: Drawing Through the Twentieth Century and Greater New York at MoMA PS1. She served as curator at MOCA from 1996–2006 where she organized the internationally acclaimed exhibition WACK! Art and the Feminist Revolution. Chief curator at MOCA, Helen Molesworth is a distinguished scholar, writer, and curator. Before joining MOCA, she was the Barbara Lee Chief Curator at the ICA/ Boston, overseeing a rigorous program of acclaimed monographic and historical survey exhibitions and an emerging collection of contemporary art. Molesworth's exhibitions at the ICA include This Will Have Been: Art, Love & Politics in the 1980s and Dance/Draw.
