Now in its 17th year at the Hammer, Bloomsday is a worldwide annual celebration of James Joyce and his landmark book Ulysses. This lively celebration featured a cast of veteran actors delivering dramatic readings from the novel interspersed with songs.

This year we gave the night to Molly Bloom — a character who has seduced and scandalized readers for over a century. Directed by Elizabeth Dennehy with actors Sile Bermingham, Sonya Macari, Johnny O’Callaghan, John Rafter Lee, and Kevin Ryan. With musical direction by Victoria Kirsch.
