"There's nothing like a black box with red seats." New Theater Hollywood is a 50 seat theater on Santa Monica Boulevard in Los Angeles dedicated to experimental, interdisciplinary performance. Founders and co-directors Calla Henkel and Max Pitegoff describe the theater as a place for reflecting on collective existence, and discuss the motivation behind their film for Made in L.A. 2025 at the Hammer Museum.
