Artist Kerry Tribe, whose work The Aphasia Poetry Club (2015) is on view in the Hammer’s Together in Time exhibition, shares insights into her practice and process making work that deploys a variety of media to create projects that consider constructions of the self in relation to language, history, memory, and ethics. Afterwards, Tribe is joined onstage by curator Connie Butler for a conversation about Tribe’s work in relation to the Hammer contemporary collection.
