Armenia's rich musical history is brought to life by the UCLA Armenian Music Ensemble, featuring baritone Garrett Schoonover, and the VEM String Quartet. Conducted by Movses Pogossian, violinist, Professor of Music at UCLA. Commemorating the anniversary of the Armenian genocide, this concert features exquisite chamber music by one of the founders of Armenian modern classical music, Komitas Vardapet, as well as composers Romanos Melikian and Edward Mirzoian.
