Julia Angwin is an award-winning investigative journalist and author of Dragnet Nation: A Quest for Privacy, Security and Freedom in a World of Relentless Surveillance. From 2000 to 2013, she was a reporter at the Wall Street Journal, where she led an investigative team that was a finalist for a Pulitzer Prize and won a Gerald Loeb Award. Investigative journalist James Bamford is the author of three books on the NSA, including The Shadow Factory: The Ultra-Secret N.S.A. from 9/11 to the Eavesdropping on America. He spent several days in Moscow with Edward Snowden which he wrote about in Wired. Moderated by Ian Masters, journalist, author, screenwriter, documentary filmmaker, and radio host.
