With the religious right a dominant force in the Republican Party, why is there not an equivalent on the left? Ordained minister Peter Laarman and journalist Sarah Posner explore this disparity of energy and activism between those who worship the same god. Laarman is the former executive director of Progressive Christians Uniting and a former community organizer and communications specialist for unions. Posner is a contributing writer at Religion Dispatches, where she blogs about religion and politics.
